Imagined more than 50 years ago by Maurice Bernachon and Paul Bocuse in honour of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, on the occasion of the banquet organised for the presentation of the Legion of Honor to Paul Bocuse by the President of the Republic. The «President» became the signature cake of the artisanal chocolate factory Bernachon in Lyon. A true original gourmet creation that has survived the ages.
